Agreed. A box to box midfielder, yet the one (and only) time he bursts forward is to impede a penalty and potentially rule out a Liverpool goal.

I was beginning to get seriously worried after all those squandered chances but that was some cool as ice shit from Kuyt there. Two fantastic penalties.
Also, these last 5-10mins have shown why some afford N'Gog a little patience. Wonderful cameo from him today.

N'gog is put through fouled just inside the pen box,
Kuyt took smashed it in but it was re-taken cos Lucas walked into the pen area before it was hit.
Kuyt took it again and scored

That is a huge win.
Excellent in the first half in terms of effort and desire.
Rode our luck for long periods in the 2nd half though still carried the chance of another goal.
Penalty at the end with Kuyt doing it twice was the icing on the cake.
More of the same commitment and 4th is there for us to take.
