I'm terrible at these things. Im on the forum every day, even if I'm not posting, and I see everyone referencing some post someone else made three years back and calling out repetitive agendas and whatnot and I've just no clue. Forum surfing in the moment. No institutional memory in me.

Don't remember what it was, obviously, but if I'm having a go at sensible, good posters like that, something was wrong.
I didn't ever try and sneak back, or log in again until I remembered what I missed about the place.
Plus I did get banned from absolutely everywhere else, obviously

Does anyone else think we argued more when we were nearer to success? When there was a fine line between success and failure, the place used to be littered with heated debate.

This Sunday is going to be really pivotal as far as I'm concerned. We've had teams in the past that have been good when they've raised their game for the big matches. That encouraged loads of frustration and anger. But this bunch of players is the first I've ever known who rarely even seem to raise their game when there IS a big game - v the mancs in the league, Villa in last year's semi-final, etc etc. I've never seen LFC players who can't even bust a gut when there's a rare chance of glory. So if they fall flat again in this weekend's final I doubt I'll care again until they've all been bombed out of the club. It'll really be the last straw,

It is perhaps because it's still pretty fresh in the memory, but the Villa semi-final was an abject, inexplicable disgrace. And I'm not one of those who claims players generally "don't care", or "don't try" or are "lazy" or indeed "aren't playing for the manager".
It was a semi-final, against a poor side, and we were shockingly, shamefully poor and I still can't work it out. They played like they were almost drugged.
