I watched his entire performance, he still looks a bit suspect defensively.
Sure, he's fearless and determined, but his positioning and his reading of the game isn't that great yet.
There's some work to do physically as well. If he can get a yard or to two quicker it would do a lot of good to his game.

TAA looked very suspect at the back when he first played for us. He was a quick learner (though not/still not quick enough for some). I don't think Williams is close to TAA's quality and potential at that same stage, but he's got the ability to be a very good attacking RB.
That's true but the stakes feel a lot higher now than when TAA was feeling his way into the team.
I'm hoping we start the season well. That will make it easier for the likes of Williams to come in and perform.
And Sane
It's a very good point. It'll do him no good at all to get the heave-ho at HT or a bit later.
Most full backs would struggle to contain Rashford and Sane in their prime....very direct, pacey and skillful.
Poor guy, I think Ings went through the same.
Tough thing to come back from, but it's possible.

Denmark is playing their typically aggressive combination football. England playing typical turgid shite. I'm pretty neutral when it comes to International football, but purely based on quality and style of football I am almost never compelled to root for England.
Dolberg should’ve scored.. but yeah, weird England line-up. Seems more interested in breaking up play than creating a game.
TAA has looked well out of form. Gomez slightly better.
What happened to Erisken, @Kay Age El? He seemed to be the kind of player who would only get better with age, but he's lost his spark. Telling that he hasn't scored from a free-kick in ages after being one of the best in the EPL at this in his prime.
