Can't say he's on my like list, but he's definitely improved which I'm happy about. But I'd like to see him take a game by the scruff of the neck.

Keep that to yourself, DB. We don't want all these prestigious accolades going to his head.
It's ironic about Lucas - a few months ago Rodgers was hailing him 'my disciple' and an absolutely crucial element in his plans, and then he got injured. It's a long way back from that injury, mentally as well as physically, and I doubt we'll see him back in top form until next season, even though he's being dismissed by some already. In the meantime Hendo is playing very well, he's going to get better and he's given Rodgers another option, so well done to him. But eventually I'd like to see him play the kind of Terry Mac role that we've lacked for a long, long time.

I just watched a youtube video of his goals and he scored some truly wonderful goals but the thing struck me was his fantastic running off the ball. He appears to be an intelligent player that was full of energy and covered a lot of ground.
The thing I can't work out from the youtube video is where his starting position is.

He played an attacking midfield role that usually saw him making runs from right of centre into the box (eg the 77 Euro final), and the timing of those runs became his trademark. He also had an amazing engine that allowed him to race from one end of the pitch to another such as when he scored that brilliant headed goal against Spurs:

Terry was a bit more central than Kuyt and massively more gifted but, yes, sort of. Ray Houghton, I guess, was the nearest to him in the years after he left.

I can see why you think Henderson could be like Terry Mac because Henderson has energy and is a good runner too, but Henderson will need get more knowhow in his running.
When Kenny bought him to play out wide, I thought he would be our own Ljungberg. Lots of energy, good running and getting in front of fullbacks to score goals.

Allen sure but not lucas. It's blatantly obvious that lucas is our first choice defensive midfielder. Not once has lucas been dropped for Henderson.
