If we beat Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, West Ham United, Everton, West Bromwich Albion, Queens Park Rangers, Hull City, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Stoke City, Leicester City, Sunderland, Manchester United, Arsenal, Burnley, Swansea City, Leicester City, Sunderland, Aston Villa, West Ham United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton, Manchester City, Burnley, Swansea City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Hull City, West Bromwich Albion, Queens Park Rangers, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Stoke City, I'm in.

Wow.

Typing this surely was worth it.

I give you a like for effort.

Believe is a strange word when discussing a future event.

Obviously we we CAN win the league. The qn is : will we?

Top 4 was sorted after one game.
Just the order to sort out.

What the hell Oncey mate, how have I been left off the DA roster for this season?

I think I was second in the ranks last year which meant I would have been the chap who had to pick up the flag and carry it if a sniper picked of the flag bearer. You know I'm well up to the task.

I dont know what people are basing Utd doing well this season on?

I think a lot of people think Robin Van Penis is going to drag them out of the shit.... He is nowhere near the form he had 2 / 3 years ago....

We should finish above them no problem in my eyes.

I still can't get my head around or truly believe that they are finished and are going to be floating around 6th/7th/8th for the short/medium term or for however long, it's not easy to forget the last 20 years and to write them off as a shower of shit just like that, especially at the start of a new season.

I think a fair few people are basing United doing well this season purely on the them being United, it's a subconscious thing, people still expect them to just turn up and win like they have done for a big part of our lives.

Did you see their back 6 the other day?

I genuinely couldnt believe how bad their starting 11 was. I mean it was midtable bad.
They have lost Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs, Scholes in the last 18 months and replaced them with dross.
They look a mess. Need a lot of new players.

They did have 9 firs team were out.

Did they fuck!!
9 first teamers means only 2 of the team who played are first teamers right?
Jones
Smalling
Herrera
Fletcher
Rooney
De Gea
Mata

All first team starters.
And of those only Rooney and Mata are any good.
Van Persie is a big miss of course and Carrick too but thats about it.
Their squad is a shambles.

On us winning - Yes I believe we can do it. But not with a midfield that has both Gerrard and Lucas in it.

Any as for United being finished - well I read in the Evening Standard on the way back an article by Scholes where we said that United are in danger of being in the wilderness like .... Liverpool My immediate thoughts are:-

Fuck you c*nt, In our so called wilderness we have finished in the top 4 quite a few times, have contended for the title at least 3 times, and have been to 2 CL finals. What the fuck are you on about ? - since Rafa left we have been to 2 cup finals (under Kenny's first full season) at least and challenged for the title just last season.

United have such a horribly shit team I wonder how that manager of theirs managed to keep them at the top for so long - and the answer is that the rest of the league have been shit because they also bought into the hype. Of their teams I only ever rated the team from 1999.

Will you revise you opinion if we beat City?

We are already 3 points better off than last season's corresponding fixtures

No, why would I? It's not an opinion based on the result of the odd game here and there (that we may or may not have won last season). I just don't see us beating out everyone else over the course of the season.

I think it'll be a big ask to get as close as we did last season nevermind win the thing. I'll be delighted to be proved wrong though, just as I was last season when I wrote us off mid-way through.

That's a fair assessment however it was exactly the game like Monday's that proved to much for us last season.

We lost all 3 games away to the other top 4 sides last season.

I think we have the squad to beat the other teams in the league over the course of the season but to be champions you can't have a return of 0/9pts away to the top 4.

If we can beat City on Monday I think the belief of last season will come flowing back and will sent a massive statement to every other team in the league.
