Trent, Salah and VVD

Mission accomplished by Madrid. Fans have turned against him in a concerning way. Might make an exit easier
It's not Madrid's fault

Madrid didn't make him do a "look at me" celebration last week
Madrid didn't make him out that performance in today
Madrid hasn't made him a liability at right back for years
Madrid have played the game and I've no qualms with that. Trents the one making himself look a cunt to our fans

It reminded me of Moreno getting skinned time and time again in the Europa League final in 2016. That was equally woeful but then I remembered Moreno actually tried.

Trents performance today was the worst display I've seen from an top class player in a Liverpool shirt. I've said a few pages back that winning the league/PL at Liverpool would mean a huge amount to Trent, and to celebrate it in front of his people, etc, etc. If a local lad doesn't care about beating United, which it looked like, then it's a hell of a sign his head is gone.

Yes because the club don't say fck all most of the time. We got two guys, Edwards and Hughes but as it was case before. the only one you hear from is Slot to fend off with with I'm just a head coach. Blah Blah. Which let's idle hands to speculate on what's going on when no one probably has much of a clue on current state of negotiations.
Sly lizards sit there and let Klopp burn over 2020 without any Centerbacks, sign crappy last min Melo in 2022 and joined up to Super League despite everyone else's wishes to peform one of their smart reverts.
Also didn't these fantastic owners wanted to cash out 2yrs ago but found no suitable offers? We don't know what's going on inside but to blame players is a bit one way. It is possible, FSG are not doing their part too.
Unfortunately, currently, Agents are necessary part of the game, if it wasn't for Agents then some of the players would get fleeced by some clubs whom have half a brain cell and taken advantage by Billionaire clubs and their even bigger fleet of Multi Club State/Investment Fund Owned Organisations.

Which club ownership and strategy would you rather we have?

I suspect Trent had been planning to sign a pre contract with Madrid quietly and hopefully leave at the end of the season with the title as well.

That was the plan initially but nobody told him that he’s not won anything yet and that he’s still got to put in a 200% shift as vice captain.

The noise and hype had obviously gotten into his massive head, pretty sure Bellingham had something to do with it too.

Salah as well.

If Salah stops contributing in the next 3 games, watch this place go into a meltdown.

If we aren't flush with cash, i'd be tempted to sort out LB this window and use a mix of Bradley, Gomez and Quansah on the right.

Sell Trent for the £30m they might offer, and use that to get Kerkez in from Bournemouth.

I’m also going to add that Salah decided to make a Sky interview about his contract instead of shutting the fuck up and then served up a shit sandwich.
He played a delicious ball that should have been the opener for Mac.
Scored a crucial penalty.
Would have had the winner if Bradley squared it.

Not supporting Trent.
Gravy's fault.

He said 9 times out of 10 Ryan was there supporting - don’t see how that’s throwing Gravy under the bus.

Slot stressed that the 2 players targeting were very good, that they were on their game and that they were hitting it long to get at the backline directly.

Mate, he was crap.

I’m not saying he wasn’t.

This is what Slot was saying - you’re free to disagree with him.

What Slot was saying was, yeah he had a bad game, these things happen and there were additional reasons that made his bad game stand out.

For my part.. when I say I don’t think he was that bad, that’s in response to claims that he was so bad he should never play for Liverpool again and that was the worst performance ever by a Liverpool player.

There’s a certain hysteria building around Trent which is way overboard imho.

I was responding to dreamy.

I felt Gravy was not being involved enough up until he clattered someone into the Kenny stand. Then he went up a few levels.
