Didnt see the post match but LVG named dropped Vidal again, not my first choice (Strootman) but definitely the calibre of player needed to shore the middle up

Messi 1-0, then straight down the other end on a longball and Mascherano sent off for clipping as the last man. Messi has looked back to his normal self tonight, running, grafting, getting involved. Either the WC, small injuries or Martino fucked him up last year.
 
Good goal for Munir, one of the kids out of the Barca academy, 18yrs old. Looping ball over the top which he hit cooly on the half volley.
Playing as one of the front 3 with Suarez, Sanchez and Neymar missing.
 
Yep. Fantastic the way he took that. Munir El Haddidi - never heard of him before. New signing making his La Liga debt.

Sanchez ain't missing - just doesn't play for them anymore.

Not new signing mate - just bought in from Barcelona B.
 
Munir scored a few in preseason as well.

Missed most of the game unfortunately but it looked a lot more like 'Barca' than the shit imitation we had to endure last season. Most of the players looked arsed, for a start.

Anyone know what the story is with Valdes?

Has any club tried to sign him or is he basically fucked until his injury clears up?
 
His agent has said his move to Monaco is still on, they've agreed a 4yr contract and if they don't honour it they'll take them to court.
 
El Haddadi is the real deal. Watched him in the youth Champions League and he dominated. Search for his goal in the final. He'll be a star. You heard it here first.
 
Yeah it wasn't really a dig at Aidan, more the fact that Januzaj's goals and form of last season get trotted out all the time as some sort of miracle season.
