City down 2-1 to CSKA after 40 mins. Looking dreadful.
Its sad if we didnt even consider Doumbia when planning for Suarez replacement.
Proper goalscorer.

Ajax were giving Barca some trouble until Cillessen had a bit of a mare and got dragged out leaving Messi with an easy header.

Ajax look decent at home. Some exciting young prospects, Veltman etc.

Roma are resting loads of players away to Bayern. Will there be written 100 articles about that, and will Lineker tweet his anger about not playing full strength?

chavs losing as well, remember 10 yrs ago when we used to have 2 or 3 teams in CL semi finals

Probably not (by the English press) as Roma aren't an English side.

Paolo Rossi is fuming, I bet.

Who will replace Pellegrini at the end of the season then? They surley wont be having this awful run in the CL.

Reus or Klopp? I dont see either happening for different reasons, Reus because the top German players tend to stay in Germany and we cant compete for wages with the clubs that are chasing him. Klopp wont because winning with us would be an even bigger ask than what hes done at Dortmund, he only has to deal with one Bayern in Germany there are 3 of them in the Premiership

It wouldn't be for us. The Sheikh's don't seem to care what type of football is played so Rafa could play whatever football he wanted. No way would he get to decide who they sign, though.

Why not?

I think it would be interesting to see if he can take City to the next level.
Because if he did, what would you gain from it, watching another English team have European success

Success isn't a certainty but I'm a fan of Rafa's ever since his Valencia days so I do think it's interesting to see if he would be able to succeed in England and Europe again.

Rafa succeeded in England?

He definitely succeeded in Europe though

What do you define as success?
If its based on his previous success in Spain then no, he probably didn't succeed, despite several top 4 finishes a cup win and a cup final loss.

If you compare that record to other England based managers its pretty good.

Has Brendan succeeded in England?
