I agree with both of yers. If Agger could just keep injury free he really could be Jocky II and Benfica are horrible slimy dogs.

I think the ref was very poor, hands raised or not the clear aggressor was the defender babel was being pushed back with the ref as the meat in the sandwich.... Yes it was stupid and yes I've seen cards given for it but IMO if babel walks there luisao should have recieved a second yellow also. Common sense and a bit of control was needed from the ref and he patently failed and in doing so gave us an uphill battle. FWIW they are one horrible bunch of dirty bastards I sincerely hope that they are given a proper Liverpool welcome in the return leg.

The ref had a panicked look about him from early in the game. The occasion and atmosphere clearly got to him, and he was seriously rattled.

Its clear that greasy defender warranted a second yellow (indeed, the ref appeared to give it to him), and he bottled it.
