I'm now 100% convinced our manager is not good enough. 2-0 at home half time against Leicester? And we were lucky to get a point.
Right back in what? This is how we play... Swansea was the exeption.

He's not to blame for the goals ... but you noticed how we played this game and how we played vs swansea? Gerrard doesn't fit this formation or Rodgers' preferred tempo ... We're a better team without him if we want to play a high pressing game with this formation ... Rafa dropped Terry at Chelsea, Mourinho followed by dropping Lampard ... If you want to be a good to great manager - and win things - you need to be able to make really tough decisions ... I'm not so sure Rodgers has the ability to do something that is hurting our team more of than not.

Sorry but when you're 2 up...at home...against Leicester fucking City, and contrive to draw the game, it's not good enough. What a missed opportunity.

I'm not looking at this with rose tinted glasses but I'm going with a point gained when we should have lost the game.
From KO Leicester were the better team, more energetic and up for it. We were sluggish, slow to the second ball and couldn't string passes together. We were lucky with the first penalty which then kicked the team to perform better. The second penalty made us 'relax' even more and the second half we started in the same lackluster manner. 2-nil up against the bottom team so how can we lose? I do think Borini was bought on to get more energy into the team, although why him and not Lazar is a conundrum.
We then played our traditional high tempo last 10 minutes and promptly got the draw.

Big picture it's great, we've made up four points on United and points on the rest, however today was a fucking shit show, a massive, massive, missed opportunity.
