I'm sure that is why we are even interested in Kovacic. He seems a good footballer, but that is secondary to the main objective.

KOVACIC 'STAYING AT INTER'
Mateo Kovacic has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpoolthis summer, but Roberto Mancini says he will not be leaving Inter Milan.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Mancini said: “Kovacic will become a champion. He is young, but has already improved a lot. I think he will stay at Inter
“I don’t think there is anything going on with him regarding a transfer.”

I love Perisic. He can play anywhere from midfield to up front. Loved him in the world cup last year.

The scrappy part is what I like funnily enough. It seems like he has a lot more fight in him than any of our current lot.
Yeah, he looks like a bit of a terrier, you could imagine him being a nightmare to play against in that advanced role, because he looks like he has that Suarez-like tenacity to chase everything down and harass players, he's not shy of putting in a tough challenge either. I really like the look of him.

The Italian tabloid, which doesn’t always carry the most reliable information, have announced on their front page that Inter Milan’s Mateo Kovacic is heading to Liverpool.
Tuttosport’s headline reads: “Inter’s Kovacic goes to Liverpool. It bursts the wrath of fans”.
In the sub-headline on the front page, Tuttosport reveal that Liverpool will pay Inter €22.6 million plus €3 million in add-ons for Kovacic, which Tuttosport say will fund the Nerazzurri’s future acquisitions in the summer transfer market.[/article]
