Kovacic, bid reported

Looks more Kaka than Iniesta in that video.

So we signed the Serbian Kaka and now need the Croatian Kaka, eh?

I'm guessing this is a rehash of an old rumour.

Gazetta TV is still reporting today about something to with Kovacic and Liverpool.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they know more than the bluffers on twitter

Yes he beats a lot of guys on the dribble but he rarely ended up in a blind alley, and his final ball was right on the money for other runners into the box. Can't say I saw a lot not to like there

Apparently Inter sold coutinho to buy Kovacevic and wanted to build their team around him. But inter are shit at developing young talent so like coutinho he has kinda stalled.

Good player but we should be looking for some steel in midfield before looking at the likes of Kova.

Supposedly, we have agreed personal terms. I like him. A lot like Coutinho, but 2 Coutinhos could be useful. Hard to mark both out of a game and Philippe tries so many audacious things that some days nothing comes off. On those days another player trying similar things will improve the odds of success.

1. It's Kovacic, not KovaCEVIC so stahp it!!!

2. Icardi just signed a new contract with Inter, so...

By what percentage?

It's a bit of an odd move when we have Coutinho, Markovic and Lallana who can all play similar roles. Is it a lack of faith in the latter two? A Sterling replacement?

[article=http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/transfer-rumours-liverpool-favourites-ibrahimovic-9405146]Reports from Croatian newspaper Vecernji list suggest that Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Mateo Kovacic as they look to fill the void in midfield following Steven Gerrard’s departure.

Claims that a wage package for the deep lying playmaker has been struck seem strange given that the Reds have not yet fixed a price with Inter.

The Serie A club are said to be unable to comprehend that the Reds believe the player is worth less than his compatriot Dejan Lovren after they offered 21millon euros.[/article]

He won't be cheap

They're still smarting from losing Coutinho

Feels a lot like the Shaqiri rumours in January. Tons of rumours in the media in Germany and Italy but nothing from the local journalist who are normally more reliable - Pearce, Joyce, Barrett.

He's Croatian and plays for an Italian club. Our track record of signings from both categories isn't really something to be optimistic about.

[article]Rumours of a Liverpool FC bid for Mateo Kovacic just won't go away - with reports in Italy indicating the Reds are set to return with an improved bid for the midfielder this week.

The Reds have long been linked with a move for the Croatian playmaker, and Gazetta Dello Sport reckon Liverpool and Inter are now getting nearer in their valuation for the player.

It is reported that Inter want 25m euros for the 21-year-old, and reports claim Brendan Rodgers is "in love" with the player and sees him as a perfect replacement for Steven Gerrard.[/article]

Rumours last week that they wanted Mario, Borini or lucas

Fucking give Borini, least Mario could command a fee
