As for my comments they have everything to do with allowing Carroll to go. Rodgers has clearly stated we need goal scorers this week. He's also clearly stated he'd be mad to let Carroll go without replacement options coming in. Now why do you think he ould sanction that move in the full knowledge he would be getting no-one in ? He simply wouldn't. So it thus becomes plainly obvious that either our owners have shifted the goalposts or Rodgers hasn't got a clue what he's doing. And there's nothing in his previous transfer to suggest the latter.
