FSG.. looking to sell?

Carroll staying would have made no difference. BR made it clear he didn't want to use him anyway, so he was just sitting in the bench costing us a fortune.

If anything we should have kept Kuyt or Maxi

He clearly didn't want to use him because he thought he was bringing in at least one other striker whom he DID want to use. Kuyt and Maxi wanted to leave.

I hope that at least this will make Rodgers demand changes to ensure such a farce never happens again. The club urgently needs a top class professional to deal with transfers and move Ayre well away from such activities.

I hate you guys for this thread, I don't want these thoughts in my head, can't why just enjoy the new era for a little bit longer before getting the banners out?

I don't want them either Anita. I just want to watch some footy and see some goals

But Rodgers clearly didn't want a DOF or technical director which is what 90% of Europe operates with.

I'm glad we backed the manager

If that's backing the manager, we've all gone crazy. Forget DoF or technical directors, we need a proper professional to deal with transfers and related matters. If that means sacking the performing chimp that is Ayre, so be it, but get that idiot away from that aspect of the club's business.

We gave Rodgers the set up he wanted, we backed his judgement on Carroll.

We got left a bit in the lurch by it. Rodgers can shut it and get on with the job as far as I'm concerned.

Rule 34, requiring football club-companies to be run essentially as non-profit organisations, with their directors serving as ‘custodians’, was in the FA handbook until the late 1990s.

I've looked, but I'll be buggered if I can find any porn of this.

I think it's a bit esoteric even for my tastes

Fuck off yourself. Grow up and stop acting like a gossiping old woman. It's embarrassing.

If Sunny reckons he has a reason to be pissed off, then he probably does.

Ergo it's not being a gossiping old woman but being rightfully fucked off about the club being stuck through the wringer, again.

Hence I'd wind your neck in a little

Whilst I appreciate your intentions, your unsolicited advice is not required. My opinions on my football team will continue to be based on common sense rather than this morning's hysterics.

Michael NGoo needs to be added to the first team squad after this evening's fiasco.

So last night it was a fiasco according to you and this morning everyone is being hysterical ?

Fair doos, but I'd base your opinions on other posters on something a little more substantial than knowing sweet fuck all about 'em

Quite. He's 20, has skill, pace and scores goals. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a EL or League Cup squad.

It was a fiasco that the club was in a poor bargaining position for a striker on deadline day however what's this got to to with the conspiratorial hysterics witnessed on this forum this morning?

It doesnt help our transfer budget either that we've paid off former staff for about 20 mill the last 2 years either.

Rael: and then some. Remember how it looked when people were doing that sort of thing to get the two cowboys out? However much they deserved it (and they did), it achieved 100% of f'ck all and made us rather than them look bad in the process.

Firstly, stop using pathetic hyperbole to describe my discussion points. I'm not hysterical in the slightest and your conspiratorial crap is grating but I'm guessing thats your aim here. As for my comments they have everything to do with allowing Carroll to go. Rodgers has clearly stated we need goal scorers this week. He's also clearly stated he'd be mad to let Carroll go without replacement options coming in. Now why do you think he ould sanction that move in the full knowledge he would be getting no-one in ? He simply wouldn't. So it thus becomes plainly obvious that either our owners have shifted the goalposts or Rodgers hasn't got a clue what he's doing. And there's nothing in his previous transfer to suggest the latter. I've had other information that reinforces the former point but people choose to label that gossip, rumour or conspiracy theory - that's fine but I know the validity of it. I've been party to 100% accurate information on how our board members and execs have behaved of late but I can't share that but there are people in here who will know what I'm referring to. Alls not tickety boo behind the scenes much as your 'common sense' would prefer it to be. You don't know me 'lad' nor do you know the validity of what I hear so you can ram your hysterics nonsense. As I say, you don't have to believe me but you can fuck right off with your unfounded accusations. Lad.

Fair comment. That advice also applies to the poster in question does it not?

He knows what he's talking about. If he says shady shit is going on, I believe him - Sunny is not in the habit of making "look at me and my big fucking ITK cock, suck it bitches" type statements

Forget it SR, I'm not arsed. Maybe it will come out in the wash as they say. Important thing now is 3 points tomorrow.

I wouldn't normally share however will make an exception today in the interests of calming you down.

The owners are trying to run the club as a business and therefore would prefer to clear the decks of highly paid, unproductive employees whilst replacing them with players who represent better value. They're not too enthusiastic about paying a surcharge for an older player demanded by a Michael Jackson loving lunatic.

This is 100% accurate but I can't tell you where I got it from.
