I want the guy gone too, but to be absolutely fair this is probably just a direct answer to a fairly direct question on the subject. What Roy doesn't seem able to do is judge when it's wise to be direct and when it isn't.

As far as his contract is concerned, I suspect he knows the situation full well and is just trying to buy himself some time to try and turn things around.
