Pre Match Pre Match - Everton (A) - Sat 12:30

Ya feel shit for the fans who traveled. I came over for a league cup game once vs Arsenal and it got postponed because of fog. Was raging but a great night in Liverpool made up for it.

If I were an Arsenal fan i'd be happy its postponed as they want nothing more than to say they've closed the gap from 9 points to 4. I like the idea of us having a game in hand in our back pockets so that when the time comes we get a chance to put 3 points on the board when no one else is playing.

It was always the annoying thing when we had a gap over city, that they had a game or 2 in hand.

Does everyone not think, regardless of the game in hand, the lead being three points less will give the other teams a boost?

Its a blessing and a curse. Yes, we get to rest, but it just adds congestion down the road when other tams might not have it. It also gives chelsea/arsenal a psychological boost if they both win, as they'll see the lead cut down to 4 points at the end of the gameweek. Also ramp the pressure on us a bit.

Yep, I think I'd have rather played today, shake off the disappointment of Wednesday, and maintain the big gap. Hopefully Arsenal fuck up again.

The weather conditions today would favor Everton and given our injuries and suspensions we could have easily dropped points as well. Arsenal and Chelsea have two difficult away games, so its not an easy 3 points for them either.

Better to play away to Everton with the right conditions and the best players available.

Happy that we get a breather before the Xmas schedule. Mac available, ibou and jota back, grav rested.

Has anyone mentioned the fixture pile-up we'll now have to sort out? I'd sooner have got this one out of the way TBH. Oh well.

It cancels eachother out, instead of playing it now we'll play it then. This gives us the chance to get some players back and manage it better.......in what'll certainly be under better conditions and a favourable kick off time....the only issue I have is this'll likely now be an untelevised game.

Get top 8 in the European cup and we will play it when Arsenal and shitty will be flying abroad.

I hope so ! I didn't see this clashes with the opening of an exhibition I'm displaying at (12.30 = 20.30 here) ! Postponing would be wonderful so I don't miss the match - never miss a match !

Urban theme exhibition in Shanghai at a wine bar/exhibition site (if you are in Shanghai in the next month then ... ). There are 17 photographers presenting some of their works. This is my little corner (click to view) before we set up the lighting :

Some lovely stuff in that mix, Froggy... Good luck with it, mate.
