Pep was sarcastically saying "thank you very much". If slot said similar I agree. I can see slot saying "you're a fucking cheat" however
Not sure. Slot looks very surprised to see that red card.

i thought macca did alright overall, but he was sloppy in the tackle. Szob was good when it came to challenging shoulder to shoulder, but any 50/50 he shit out of. Grav i didn't notice at all.It is a bit mad after taking Grav off for an extra attacking presence he didn't stick Endo on when we got the goal.
Robbo was terrible while he was on the pitch. How many times did Gakpo even see the ball? Everything went down the right and it only worked when Salah dropped back cos Szob was shit all night.
Grav had one of his worst games this season and I get why he was hooked, and it worked. We should have won from there, Endo or not. But we didn't match their midfield, fuck all this referee shit, the midfield let us down twice as much as the officials.
I'm only leaving Mac out because of that header but other than that he wasn't very good either.
It's not worth it.I'd rather slot miss wolves and villa than villa and city. I don't know if we should appeal
He really did, and it just goes to highlight how good it is to have both options in TAA and Bradley. Bradley did ok but I'd said pre game that I feared the occasion would get to him and he would have a rash challenge in him. I think they targeted him quite a bit. Trent was calm and composed with the ball at his feet and looked a different class whenever he had the opportunity to create an opening.Macca
Salah
TAA - I was apprehensive when he came on TBH but thought he actually did OK.
Interesting take from the Guardian this morning...
There were two VAR reviews after Tarkowski lashed Tim Iroegbunam’s flick-on into the roof of Alisson’s net, one for offside and another for a push by Beto on Ibrahima Konaté. When both were cleared – the referee, Michael Oliver, might have feared for his safety had they ruled against Everton – the final whistle sounded almost immediately...
Both things aren't mutually exclusive.Great. First act a prick and then play the racist card.
I demand an investigation - Doucoure only provoked our fans because they're mostly white, the racist fuck.
When the football staff told Bobby that Holgate had alleged he called him the N word he apparently was totally confused, before eventually asking what it meant. Not only did he not say it, he didn't even know the word. They have form for it. Holgate pushing Bobby Firmino into the advertising hoardings and then accusing him of a racist comment comes to mind.
I've said from almost day one that VAR officials shouldn't even be from the same country... No existing relationships would be strained by the VAR doing their job correctly in that case.Maybe VAR would work better if there was no direct communication with the ref and, ideally, they didn't even know each other. Have professional refs from some other equivalent league do it.
I've never understood why the ref on the pitch needs to have any input whatsoever once the thing goes for review. Seems like he could only corrupt the process, never improve it. Instead we get ridiculous nonsense like sending him over to the monitor in front of tens of thousands of screaming fans.
