Pre Match Pre Match - Forest (A) - Tues 20:00

Honestly, I think Trent played more like a right back in the first half. The inverted shit started in the second half.

I guess we didn't lose.

And for the most part pinned Forest down whilst we overhit pass after pass and ballooned shot after shot over the bar.

So err, just need Arsenal to lose and we can write this weekend off.

Ohh, you are hard...
Resorted to that?
Shows your level, now I kind of miss Rosco (but not that much!) bullying your silly ass all over the site.
Haha you wish. Like that ever happened. I'm done with your thick as two short planks ass. No matter how stupid your argument (see above) you've always got a comeback (avoiding the actual question at all costs) and I mean to everyone, always ! You have to have the last word no matter who or what the debate. Now off you go and compose your pathetic retort.

At some point, we have to start functioning again as a midfield, Konate to recover some kind of form and Salah to not to revert to last years post Jan Salah. Hopefully we can. Mo should have signed whatever we offered last year, could be the worst decision of his life holding out.

Oh I'm done? If you are done then why do you keep reply?, you get so personal quick. Can you not stick to an discussion/argument without getting personal ? Do you not realise how stupid you look? Go on tell us about your views benefits on colonialism and Churchill to others outside UK ? To not listen to your stupid posts again would be a blessing.

We aren't shyte, but I don't see some clear gap between us and the rest of the sort of shyte would be champions. And, as some of the rub of the green we had earlier in the season goes against us a bit, I don't think there will be an actual gap if this keeps up.

All that would be fine with context and all of that, but I wanted us to find some increased attacking understanding and push on a bit, and not get dragged into what will be a tension wrought proper league battle that's good for the neutral, that is to say something I want nothing to do with.

Very pleased to see jota looking really sharp. Not surprised to see Salahs levels dipping.

I think if we aren't well ahead there's a significant advantage to arsenal in the meat of the season, when they will presumably have no cups to deal with. I don't see them going on some great run, but our form isnt great recently.

Our team selections are predictable.
Our football is shit.
We don't turn up until whatever the opposition tires and by default we take over. (today it was the 60th min).
We don't sign players we need.
We don't keep players we need.

Neco pocketed Mo all game.

He was so poor we had to shift Szobo there, it was only when we double/tripled up down their left did Mo get a bit of space to create a few openings. One decent shot, the rest were shit.

He still had a couple of excellent chances. Aina made a great clearance off the line and a very good save from Sels stopped another.

He wasn’t top form but he was more threatening than many others.
Oh no you are an apologist too now. To hope that our best striker, penalty taker and chance creator may just still offer hope? That's the reason Klopp left him and same reason Slot does it. Doesn't take a genius to see the logic or reason why someone can still understand why people back Salah even he was rubbish for 90 mins.

You sound like McMannaman (who said exactly that)! He didn't make a great save off the line - he literally didn't move, all he did was close his legs. It was just lucky it hit him.
It was a good save from Sels - from a poor shot more towards the middle of the goal instead of where he was aiming.

That said we were desperately unlucky not to win. We were excellent in the second half after the subs. Which makes it doubly frustrating.

Our last three wins came after having a go in the first half. Leicester did score after 6 minutes but we pummelled them after that and scored.

Scum. Nothing first half. Spurs cup. Nothing first half. Tonight. Nothing first half.

Accrington Stanley doesn’t count in case someone fancied bring pedantic.

Ipswich. Nothing first half
Fulham. Nothing first half
Newcastle. Nothing first half
Leverkusen. Nothing first half
Girona. Nothing first half
Forest home. Nothing first half
Southampton. Nothing first half
Brighton. Nothing first half
Arsenal. Nothing in open play first half
Wolves. Nothing in open play first half.

We're basically the same team as last season minus the semi exciting football.

The Diaz experiment at nine needs to end, and fast. Play Jota, Danns, Nunez—whatever it takes, just move on.

I can’t shake the feeling that if Jota had come on at half-time, we might have stolen the game. The same also rings true if we had even one fullback regularly putting balls into the box.

The second half of the season feels like a battle of who will bottle it the least. Hopefully, Spurs can do something at Arsenal tomorrow, and we can move on from another game with no points dropped.
