Oh, and just as a big old FYI.
Peter Crouch has scored 10 goals this season. In less games. With a shitter team.
Stop trolling Ryan, it's clear he hasn't figured as much as he should and has had other issues. I'm far from convinced it'll work out but the signs over the last few months have been encouraging. Not £35m worth of encouragement, but it's taken time for him to start to show he's capable. How old is he? 22? He's got time on his side to be a good centre forward. Incidentally re Crouch, I've always maintained in our discussions about centre forwards that alot of the time they're there to do alot of the donkey work and that a decent return for a typical centre forward is usually around 12 goals, I've said the same for Kuyt in recent years too. Carroll hasn't figured a great deal and up until recently has struggled to find his feet (it's also fair to say, we haven't been the most creative side). Give him time, you might think it's great you were proved right, or that it's a woeful return but give him a full season now he's settled, I'd wager he'll be a bigger goal threat and generally better alround player.
