Reasons why Carroll won't be sold next summer:

1. Nobody will pay anything close to what we did for him.

1. He's slow and lazy - Slow maybe, lazy he'll no. These past few games he's actually worked his socks off.

2. He doesn't score enough goals although primarily playing as a main striker (Bring out the stats children) - I agree, I personally think he'd be better in a 4-4-2. But he's young and still learning.

3. He's on high wage (I believe he's on 90k a week) - He also signed a 6.5 (or 5.5) year contract. So he won't be getting a raise any time soon.

4. He doesn't link well with other players in the team. - Let's just wait and see.

5. For his size and height he has poor heading ability - Bull

6. He cannot play alone up front (See reason no 1) - Yes, but give him some time. It's something he has to adapt to.

7. He has average passing and shooting ability - Average passing yes, but his left foot is a cannon. His precision is questionable though.

8. We hoof the ball whenever he plays up front - Correction, Carra hoofs the ball whenever he plays. I'd love to see how he plays when Suarez, Meireles and Gerrard are in the team.

9. His pricetag - Can't argue with you there. But it's still too early

10. He's sluggish when getting across his man and he don't stretch the oppositions defence (I know Suarez does that but Suarez are not going to play for us ALL THE FUCKING TIME). No he doesn't but he occupies two defenders. This will also give Suarez space.

I appreciate you answer my post Modo...good man.

1. He seldom make defence splitting runs, always wait for the ball to come to him. I would say that lazy.

2. He played in a 4-4-2 formation with Kuyt alongside him against Arsenal and what happened?

3. That's more than 20++mil in 5 years...add that with the transfer fee it would be a mind boggling 55mil.

4. THe question is how long?

5. Tell me how many crosses were straight to him be it from Downing, Enrique or Adam and his header just doesn't have enough power.

6. He played for Newcastle regularly upfront and why the fuck does he need more time to adapt?? ??

7. You agree with me there.

8. You didn't answer me there, i said the team play hoof ball when Carroll upfront, do you agree with me or not? Just a simple Yes or No. Thanks.

9. --

10. I was merely arguing about when he play alone upfront. And you only need one fucking defender against Carroll.

I disagree. City and Spurs will and have enough money to sign him. Having said that, City have better options in Dzeko and Aguero.

Andy Carroll to quit Liverpool for Manchester City in shock deal?
Liverpool striker Andy Carroll may be just eight months in to his Reds career, but rumours of a possible departure erupted on Twitter after he was 'spotted' outside Manchester City’s stadium.

I tried to resist staying out of this thread, as it's clearly nonsense, but then got suckered in.

Imagine my relief when I found out the topic was started by this Glock tool.

Universally acclaimed as possibly thee-worst-poster on this forum, so thankfully, I didn't have to work up an angry head to tell you how wrong your opinions are.

It's mad, cause opinions by definition can't be wrong, but Glock has somehow managed it.

We paid waaaaaay to much for him, but that's OK, apparently as we got waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much for Torres. I actually think he doesn't suit the way we play best, and teh 2nd half of last season with Kuyt & Suarez up front was pretty good. But now Caroll is 'fit' he gets picked on his price tag and teh need to play him into form.

I'm not saying he's shit or owt, but we woz raped.

I hope that Kenny realizes this and don't be stubborn. Stubborn manager always wrong.

Carroll is one of the worst striker we have signed and Kenny should take major fucking blame on this.

I like Carroll as a personality but tbh I don't think selling him would be the worst idea in the world. Although we'd get jack all for him. I'd sell him for £25mill in a heartbeat.

Right.

How many goals (all comps) will he score this season? Whoever gets it right gets a date with Glock.

I'm going for 12.

if thats the prize....

98

(realistically though about 14)

He is not meant to be an Ian rush type who actually scores goals though is he? He's more of a Heskey non scoring CF type.

He's easily got 10 goals in him.

I'd say i would take Crouch in a heartbeat now rather than see the big arse fucking Carroll lumbering around the pitch again.

Really?

The same one who is at Stoke? The one who has failed at 2 top clubs?
