Themn was maestro at his best, but unfortunately he decided to go down that route. He was well aware of the rule and he was well aware of the repercussions as hes done exactly the same in the past. Its sad that he feels he can't come back, but you cannot abuse people because they've got a different opinion. Regardless of how twatty the opinion may be.

I personally hopes he comes back sooner rather than later, but thats down to him

I agree Larry, new opinions are fine, but a man should be able to jump up and down on the differing opinion, set fire to it, and kill its family, is all I'm saying. Especially if that opinion is a WUM cockheaded one.

But the opinion wasn't set on fire and all that. The poster was.

I could say "i think your opinion on kenny is shit" rather than "you're shit because of your opinion on kenny"

carroll strikes me a much better player than crouch and I'm not just saying that because carroll is still in red.
when carroll holds up the ball he actually holds up the ball rather than running deep into our own half to lay it off the the player that gave him the ball in the first place (what the fuck was that all about?). carroll has a resonable touch (but to be fair so does crouch) but for me what sets the players apart (and I'll include heskey in this) is carroll's self belief and determination to make the ball his which I think crouch and heskey lack. I think carroll can emulate drogba with the right coaching.

Yeah I miss Themn too. He's a good poster and I think he'll be back during the summer.

Read a few threads on TLW the other day...I really don't miss Brendan (Silverlining). Still the same dickish opinions.
 
We need to stick to them as much as we can. Losing a good poster is sadly a casualty of trying to make here the lovely social hub it is.

Fundamentally we're all here for our love of liverpool (besides our non-liverpool supporting friends), so we ultimately want whats best for the club. Calling someone a cunt because of what they believe is best for the club is jarg.
 
Themn never left in a hissy because he was banned. He left because he was fed up with the constant bitching, moaning, agendas and people slagging off Kenny Dalglish whilst claiming at the same time they loved him.

No, there should never been any resorting to name calling. I see Squiggles hasnt been back since I upset him either after he called me an arrogant fuck or something which was a little rich coming from him. Unlike themn, I don't miss him. Whereas I agree most people want whats best for the club Fabs I do somewhat question how people measure their 'love' for the club. All some seem to do is slag it off. If was a marriage you'd be better off getting divorced if that's the way you felt about the other half.

He may come back next season mate. New season, fresh start and all that. I'm expecting the slagging the club off to begin before a balls been kicked in anger though next season.

Surely its the things that you love that can hurt you the most

people care for our club and they have seen us free fall (in the league) this year. As the season has worn on i honestly believe its just frayed wires causing sparks on here. People take to underperforming differently. ITs easy to rue our mistakes buts its another to rectify them. People just aren't sure if kenny can rectify.

It's not just about the Kenny thing mate is it ? It seems to be everything related to the club is an item for criticism lately. Best post I've seen on here in ages was Oncys post-FA cup final one declaring his love for the club. Not one launching into how we didn't turn up for an hour and Kenny got the starting line up wrong - which is all true. It's having a little give and been able to pull out the positives as well as debating the things that are wrong. We never talk about what we do right any more - if feels like, according to some, everything we do as club is wrong. Anyway. Oncys post - it made me feel all warm and fuzzy and want to spend more time with the 6CM brotherhood, which is shrinking by the way, again. I'm surpised how people havent realised it's less busy than it ever used to be and the only thing I can put it down to is that everyone is constantly arguing. There's little fun to be had. When it's there it's the best on the net for me. It just aint there. At the moment though I'm really not missing being away from here from time to time. It's not even the first LFC forum port of call I make any more which makes me really sad in many ways.

TBF that makes me feel a little sad.

Truth be told we just need the season out the way. We need to get the excitement of the euros, we need some signings for people to go "ooooo" over and we need to get humour back.

I honestly think its because people weren't expecting this season to go like this. Normally we can tell how things are going to go (if we're truth be told realistic) and this season was a complete shocker (in respect to expectations)
