After 33 games and a sound thrashing one of the leagues shitiest teams in years, Tottenham hotspur have a goal difference of 0, nada, nothing, zilch, fuck all! But they are sixth in the Premiership, quite astonishing.

They are only 15 points behind us with 5 games left, they have managed to zero out their GD and are moving it in the right direction. If they win their 5 remaining games 9-0 and we lose all ours we may finish as low as sixth

Will be interesting to see how next season goes for Everton as there is no way they will have more than 1 of Lukaku, Barry or Delofeau in the squad. They are getting top performances from the likes of Mirrales, Baines, Coleman & Barkley but unless they can keep Lukaku and get hold of a solid CM like Barry they will struggle to build on this season - that is definitely a drawback of relying on loans. Unless they can loan in even better players!

If they're in the CL next season - and they've got a huge chance at it - then I dare say they won't have any shortage of top players who'd like to be loaned to them. I imagine that clubs who want to sell them would be happy to get them in such a shop window too.

Don't know how much Lukaku is going to go for but 30m of CL money (is it more than that now?) will go a long way to bringing in some actual talent. One of the best moves Martinez made was getting man u to take Fellaini and pay for him. He'd never fit in with the way that Martinez wants Everton playing and he's utterly screwed up the united midfield every time I've seen them playing.
