Its the Metro though. We have been linked with him but 125,000k a week? Yeah right.
He's not that good either.

The "source" that Sanderson references there is an Italian paper that says we offered 1.9 million euro a year to him.

Not too sure how he then makes that into 125K a week.

Well I am. He makes it up. With no research. Badly.

Let Mignolet save shots, don't keep involving him the the tippy tappy shit that goes with this 'playing out from the back' shit. Said it yesterday and the day before. It's the answer, stop trying to play footy with a non-footballer in a dangerous area.

If that was the problem then we'd be able to solve it. In fact, that's been the approach the last two games - there's been no tippy tappy stuff (Ming's absurd effort to give Cambiassi a goal excluded).

The bigger issue is that he doesn't command his area. He's the only player on the pitch who can touch the ball with his hands there and he remains glued to the line.

€1.9m a year = c.a. £125,000 a month.
Bless him, I believe the strange looking guy has confused weeks with months. Society would be putting too much pressure on our young people if we were to expect them to learn the difference between weeks & months as they go through the school system.

Back of the Neto. Is he really called Neto? Was he one of the Marx Brothers? Neto?? The tabloid headline writers wouldn't be able to cope with such a pun-tastic name. Their brains would blow up.

He is in for a shock if Metro ever start paying him a salary.

If Cambiasso hadn't have put that wide we would be screaming for Mignolet's head AGAIN. He's dreadful. People go on about shot stopping, but that's the minimum required of a keeper at this level surely.

This reminds me of an experience I had recently. Went to buy a coffee and was told $4.50 - I thought it was $4 and had a $5 note. When I realized there was a 50 cent surcharge I paid $5.50 so I could avoid loose change & get a $1 coin.

The guy was about 25, a couple years out of uni. He looked at me in bewilderment, picked up a pen and then put it down. He looked at me quizzically then back at the register. I couldn't figure out what the problem was and wondered if I'd heard the price correctly.

Another 20 seconds of awkward silence and he finally turned to the middle aged woman who owned the shop. "I'm really bad at maths", he offered "and don't know what the change should be". I felt my jaw begin to drop but turned to look elsewhere and hopefully limit his embarrassment.

He quietly explained to the owner that the coffee was $4.50 and I'd paid $5.50 but the register was already open and he couldn't work out how much change I was due.

Her response: "I'm really bad at maths too. Is the calculator in the drawer?" It wasn't. They ended up cancelling the sale and re-entering it so the cash register would tell them the change that was due. When $1 came up they both showed surprise.

Seriously, what chance does a society have when people like that are not only allowed to roam free, not only allowed to work with the public but they can actually employ other people? It's insane.

Begovic, a man who many want too, made the exact same pass at Old Toilet yesterday.

This happens to me daily. I get pleased when I find people who actually understand what the fuck I'm doing. Gives me some faith in humanity

The pass out was horrendous and he should have booted it to fuck instead.
But he wasnt the only one yesterday. Some of the short passes around our own box yesterday were shocking.

Still cant believe Cambiasso missed tbh.

It was a weird miss for a player of his class. He still looked quality at times yesterday. Would still look very good in a top side I reckon.

Prefer Gordon Browns, buy now and pay back in 10 years time and then tell everyone he didn't read the small print

And wait till gold is at an all time low price then sell every ounce we own as a nation. Then sit back and watch as gold prices go up to an all time high. Way to go!

Sorry to be a pedant but none of those points are true. But that's politics, this thread is about Ming - he isn't gold but I'd still sell him whether for a low price or a high price, I wouldn't wait.

Sometimes you have to do the right thing and avoid counting the cost.

You say potato, I say he dumped the gold to stop financial institutions going bust by selling it low so they could buy it and raise capital when it's value rose. He was caught in an untenable position at the time, I'd banks fucking die. But there we go.

Anyway, back to Mignolet. I'd sell him at any price.

The extra layers he has doesn't help, but Reina does look a bit bulky now

He's sitting on the bench each weekend so he could look like Neville Southall at the end of his career and it wouldnt change anything.

I just read that Ming has been helping his cousin out with his final year dissertation in Uni. His cousin is studying robotics and had to build a sporting robot capable of independent movement, this is it:

In regards to Neto.

Good solid keeper.

Fiorentina have offered him a new contract, although he seems to be annoyed at Fiorentina for the time it's taken them to put one on the table.

AS Roma are heavily linked with him & I can see him moving there if he leaves.

I was going to do some lengthy post about how he should have saved that thing that hit the post the other night because his positioning was wrong, and how he was in the air when yer man Ulloa hit it, therefore it took him longer to spring and save it cos he had to wait for his feet to touch the ground but it's probably all in this post anyway. Youtube it. He's fucking rubbish.
