I was going to do some lengthy post about how he should have saved that thing that hit the post the other night because his positioning was wrong, and how he was in the air when yer man Ulloa hit it, therefore it took him longer to spring and save it cos he had to wait for his feet to touch the ground but it's probably all in this post anyway. Youtube it. He's fucking rubbish.

I dunno if I ever loved him per se, maybe I did? But I suppose I never thought he was this fucking guff.

I think the final straw was that pass to Cambiasso the other night. Look at how he actually passed the thing, the technique he used to kick it - he can't even kick a ball properly.

While we're on it - how did Cambiasso miss that by the way? That was a horrendous miss from there by a player of his quality.

I think you said he was good ... not a ringing endorsement ... We really need to find a goalkeeper - even a stop gap option like Valdes because he is a liability ... Our defenders must be under even more pressure knowing he's so fragile. Poor kid - he started off his career here so brightly (the penalty save against Walters, the save against Benteke).

Yah Cambiasso's miss was pretty shocking ... probably didn't realize how much time and how far away Mign was from the goal ... thankfully.

So do we actually think that we'll get in a replacement for Simon?

If we don't then the pressure on BR will mount heavily after every mistake from Feb 1st onwards.

Everything depends IMO on whether FSG are willing to let Brendan spend more. If they are, then yes, I suspect GK will be one of the positions we'll be looking to strengthen.
