And even that loss should have been at the very least a D if not a W.

No matter whose played there they've not let the team down. Of course we could have a 'real' DM there but who's to say we would still have performed as we have done? Maybe the reason we've done so well is because we don't have a real holding #6 (Endo aside).

Fair enough, but for me the value in that sort of player is in a very few, very demanding games. Those games also define a season.

I don't think Mac Allister has let the team down, because I don't think he shouldn't be playing there, but his playing there has caused significant problems, and doesn't look natural.

You are both obviously right; Endo is our only specialist DM but Bajcetic & Thiago are both competent 'generalists'. Mac Allister isn't a comfortable fit and hopefully we will see less of him there. We don't have a Rodri/Fabs class DM, but that hasn't really been an issue as Frogfish's results record shows.

Caicedo is System player, take him out and who knows what happens - it turns out he's not worth $115M

Pretty much, we don't have a left footed CB, so it's more or less a summary of both postions.
We have top class players but they're getting older. We have a very good player in Konate and decent one in Gomez. Quansah still has alot to prove imo. See it like this, are we in trouble if Van Dijk gets injured? Hence green and yellow.

I ask mainly because, for me, LCB is an orange at best.

It's looking good. It's not complete yet, Endo isn't the long-term, he's a squad player at best. But add a beauty there and the rest is sorted. Hopefully, that new Brazilian lad completes the picture.
