No matter whose played there they've not let the team down. Of course we could have a 'real' DM there but who's to say we would still have performed as we have done? Maybe the reason we've done so well is because we don't have a real holding #6 (Endo aside).
Fair enough, but for me the value in that sort of player is in a very few, very demanding games. Those games also define a season.
I don't think Mac Allister has let the team down, because I don't think he shouldn't be playing there, but his playing there has caused significant problems, and doesn't look natural.
