Former Liverpool and England midfielder Danny Murphy has questioned Daniel Sturridge’s fitness following the news that the striker will be out for three weeks with a thigh injury. Speaking with Mark Chapman and ex-England internationals Alan Shearer and Emile Heskey, Murphy says the idea that Sturridge should have sat out training following the Three Lions 1-0 win over Norway is ‘ludicrous’ and called for the striker to stop ‘moaning’.

Hodgson should have at least asked the clubs trainers if sturridge does have to sit out some training sessions once Daniel spoke to him & made the request, esp as he explained that the club don't make him train every session to prevent injuries.
