With the Coates deal done, I'm happy with the squad as it is, we can let Ngog and Poulsen go, and whoever of the other players that are on the fringes that I'm forgetting about, but it's been a pretty good summer.

Obviously there's still room for improvement, but it's a great start.
 
If Kenny sells Meireles to Chelsea for £12M then its probably because he has AffellayN Zarate or Vargas lined up.


Meireles isn't guaranteed first team at Liverpool and I don't believe for a minute that he wants to leave because of it. Chelsea won't guarantee him it either so I'm inclined to think that's its all paper talk.

The spurs bid may have done us a favour TBH. If we do want shut then we'll get a higher price now than with just the Chelsea 7m on the table.

I like this stuff of signing good players and selling bad ones we have been doing so far this summer. Please keep it that way and keep Ming.
 
Chelsea can do the cheeky bastards. The fact they want him should be enough evidence to hold on to the lad. They wouldn't want him if he wasn't any good, plus what kind of a message does it send out if we do? that we're beneath Chelsea for good these days?

Keep him, we'll need him at points over the season. Arsenal game was proof enough of that.
 
Its my opinion we should keep good players....release the shit ones. We should always refuse to sell a player to a direct rival unless hes not that important to us and we can screw them for millions and millions.
