According to rumours today, Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen could already have an agreement with AC Milan.
Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet are reporting that Eriksen, and AC Milan have an agreement over a four year deal, but they need to sell a player before they can buy.
The player in question is their Ghanaian international Kevin Prince Boateng, who is rumoured to be interesting West Brom, Monaco, Liverpool, and Galatasaray.
If Milan can sell Boateng then they would have the funds needed to buy Eriksen, with Ajax reportedly asking for €16 million, before they let go of their star man.
Eriksen only has one year left on his contract, and has stated if he does not move on from the Amsterdam Arena this summer, then he will sign a contract extension.
Last week, German Bundesliga club Leverkusen were reported to have made Eriksen a huge offer, but he was not willing to move to the club, as he didn’t see it as a step up.
Other clubs have been heavily linked with the 21 year old, including Liverpool, Roma, and Borussia Dortmund, who may have lost interest after they signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Eriksen has been with Ajax for five years, making 156 appearances, and scoring 30 goals, as he helped Ajax to three consecutive Eredivisie titles.
