I've never rated him any better than what we already have at left back. Cole is 32 this year If this guy is that good then surely Chelsea would be looking to keep him and have him take over from Cole over the next 24 months.

FWIW, I don't mind him. He's tidy, has good positional sense and can play a few roles. He's not really dynamic enough - doesn't look a threat anyway, and seems to meander a bit through games.
