In answer to Lady Reds original post - I think KK has scored a 7/10 so far. Definite room for improvement but overall pretty good. For one thing - and this to me is key. I'm not shaking my head with embarrassment anymore. During the Hodgson 'era' it got to the point was I could barely watch old 'Budgie Face'. It was frankly a shambles but with KK and the new owners in things have looked immeasurably better for sure.
In regards to everyones opinion on KK and his decisions regarding the signing of Carroll and Downing. I'd say Carroll is a big concern. Did KK and Comolli really think he'd be the next Alan Shearer? So far he's more like a shit version of Peter Crouch. He came good in the end though and as for Carroll - he's got time on his side. I don't know what everyones problem is with Downing though.... Is it the price? I think every time I have seen him play he's ok. Sometimes way better than that. He's only 25 games into his reds career so I'm willing to give some time.

Thats a fair enough point I suppose. How often has Maxi played though? Twice? Downing has been steady if not spectacular - I'm convinced he will come good. I would say I would stake my reputation on it but being a low poster I fear that might not have much credence! 😛
the fact maxi's only played twice and contributed more in goals and chances does kind of put you on shaky ground, matey.
