I'm unconvinced about maxis crossing ability myself
It's his goals which convince me.
Did I deny that?

I still think downing has been unlucky for us. If half the chances created for us went in end be in a much better position and people wouldn't moan about him

I like the idea of downing and maxi on the wings

They haven't gone in though, and we have to judge him on what has actually happened. If half of Maxi's goals hadn't gone in he wouldn't be rated half as highly, but they have.

I just feel bad for the lad. Suarez, carroll, kuyt have all missed close range sitters which have been expertly set up on a plate. He should come back into the first team

Latest stats:

- Kenny has 4pts less than he had first time he was LFC manager after 34 games in charge.

- LFC have 62pts from last 34 PL games under Kenny, from the last 34 PL games prior to Kenny we got 47pts

We've already equalled our total of away wins for the whole of last season. Under Hodgson they were like hen's teeth.

It was like Hodgson didn't think away victories were possible.

Not trying to defend Woy in any way but it ought to be noted that our strikeforce comprised of Ngog, Jovanovi? (barely featured) and Torres (off form).

The problem with Roy was that that line was the only attcking movement we had. Roy Hodgson was an embarrasment to us. Fucking hell, he didn't manage to bring one of the richer clubs in Norway to more than a midtable position with boring footbal a few years prior to his Liverpool assignment.

And Kenny's first move was to drop N'Gog and play Kuyt up front more often, and we improved dramatically.

To win there with be utopia.

What a fucking wet blanket. I saw a man half asleep leaning into the freezer of the frozen food section of a supermarket last year. He was the spitting image of Roy. Oh I laughed, and how.

Just imagine where we'd be if our home form was as good as the away.
14 points at home, 15 points away, so pretty much the same spot.

Yeah, but just imagine how that extra point would feel, Gerry.

Every man should be free to dream.

Kenny is the right man to take us forward. Been evident ever since he took over IMO.

He will bring us no. 19.

In Hindsight, when should he had taken over in the first place. We won titles and were a very good team for part of the 2000s. But toward the end of Benitez regime there were clear signs of fatigue between him and the organization. Would Kenny handled that different? Was it possible to handle it different with Hicks and Gillette psuhing all kind of pressure on the club?

In my head Hodgson should never been here in the first place. Probably should Kenny ideally come in the Januar before Hodgson came. At that time we had nothing to play for, and Rafa was a dead man walking.

Kenny has done well with the mostly shit group of players he bought.

Commoli has totally failed in his primary function and should be sacked.

They are on twitter... other than for promotion and the dissemination of certain types of information, it is entirely useless. It is to discussion what bumper stickers are to political view points. If your opinion can be summed up in 140 characters or less, it's probably not particularly thought out.

Yep.

My biggest concern (beside the obvious misspend and misselling) is the strange way in which he selects the side each game.

In our first two games of the season Meireles and Suarez were our best two players. Meireles is sold after the second game.
Then we beat Brighton with Maxi and Carroll both scoring. Both are dropped for the next game.
In the next game against brighton Bellamy scored and then was dropped for the next game.
Against Everton Carroll scores and then is dropped for the next game.
Against Norwich Bellamy was one of our best players and scored then is dropped for the next game.
Against Stoke Maxi was immense and caused havoc with Suarez and then is dropped for the next game.
Against Chelsea Maxi is brilliant and scores and then is dropped for the next game.
Against Chelsea in the cup Maxi scores and is dropped again for the next game.
Bellamy scores against Villa and is dropped again.
There are a load of other examples and to me it seems that Kenny has decided on who he wants to be our team and it doesnt matter what any other players do he will persevere with the same team.
Im really unsure how Downing, Adam, Henderson, Kuyt etc keep being picked week in week out when we consistently have better players on the bench.
I think its the Maxi thing more than anything else. Hes so much better than the others and its not like he isnt doing things when he comes on.

All that said, today we were away at the top of the table 200m squad City. So only a mental would have been expecting a win. We played Okish to a degree, I would just like to see a better and fairer starting selection each week.
Maxi for one is in my team all day long.

Downing reminds me of mark Walters.

Your too young for that but it was painful.

Get rid he's fucking awful.
Yes sir.
He has this way of looking like he is about to do something amazing all the time.....but then he cuts inside, looks up, turns left, cuts back inside, then sidefoots it backwards to the fullback and runs off into opposition players so that he can never recieve the ball and be expected to actually do anything.
He plays like a total coward to me.

White mark Walters (not being racist for all you big thread lovers)

He's so fucking shite, get rid.

Andy, I'm agreeing with you far to much lately. Let's hook up and have football sexy talk.

Between what Oncey said, ownership, board direction and the completely fucktard way the racism thing has been handled I don't know what the fuck LFC is any more.
