Hull Post Match Thread...

I can't be bothered getting stuck into this one. Hated this game. Disjointed and horrible to watch.

Moses should be shot for that piece of play that led directly to them scoring. Clown. His miss didn't help his cause either.

I thought Lucas was fine. There was zero movement in front of him. Suarez had one of those days. I feared he'd do something crazy and not in a good way and be sent off.

I'm a big fan of Glen but he is being really poor for quite some time now. He has no competition and it shows. He gets away with half arsed clearances or indulgent touches knowing it doesn't really matter at the end of the day, he'll be playing again next weekend. Not good enough from him. Odd choice at CB too. I would play Sakho.

I had hoped we had turned a corner. I presumed we were flat track bullies now. I expected three points. Very disappointed with our performance.

Flanno might have played like he cared and was steady in the first half. But he offered nothing going forward, clearly isnt a left back and was out of sync with the rest of the defence. Get Cissokho back in who is a natural left footed left back. Our last clean sheet was with him in the side.

On a side note, if this thread turns into an Agger debate I'm seriously going to e-bomb the forum.

Always been a Johnson fan but fuck me he played like he had swallowed a bottle of valium before the match, he has these form patches and needs to snap out of it sharpish, he ones of our senior players and we need some responsibility for him and him playing well, not like some fan whos won a competetion to play for Liverpool.

Agreed - Johnson is a great player but he sometimes has a game like today when he inexplicably plays like a zombie. I think he is a big asset to the squad and we wouldn't be able to replace him with anybody better.

In general, after a bad defeat like today, the shit hits the fan and it sticks to some players who don't deserve it. Flanagan and Henderson were two of our better players today. I think both of them are coming on very well.

You go on about shithouses then want Cisshoko picked?, hes the biggest shithouse of the lot.

Most blame today imo lay with Roy Rodgers. Players were obviously not helping but counter tactics against one of the worst teams in the league is NOT Liverpool. My patience after today and the Arsenal game is baring thin. Awful transfer window and negative tactics and team selections. Oh and that Alberto lad looks like a League One player to me so far. Good to see the faithful Skrtel fan base absorbs him for all blame today, he was "great" even... Hahahahahhaha

I missed the game today. Joking aside, were there any positives at all? Even one small crumb of comfort?

Kristian and modo were delighted skrtel scored an own goal so they are happy enough

Yeah Skrtel was apparently having a great game. That's a positive I guess.

Its really hard to think of any, it was an awful performance against a terrible yard-dog journeyman Hull team.

If you want to know negatives then im sure we could all come up with a long list.

@Leo read my post you tart. I don't blame him do I? Mark blamed a player that did not play however in his initial post and people are saying Skrtel had a GREAT game. Now that is controversial and I am allowed to comment right, it's mind blowing. But I guess they are right. I mean from a Hull perspective.

You are sulking like a bitch because your boyfriend didn't play but yeah we get it.
Its Agger fc

@spaghetti He was surely one of our less horrendous players but no freaking way did he or anyone else from Liverpool have great games. Where do posters get this from?

This thread has just become amazing.

@Leo You said as much in the match thread as well but you are aware I was right, right? I knew it would be ugly and I could see Rodgers mistakes a mile away. Dropping Agger is only a part of that problem. As said let's sell him and you can have a field day with your good friends.

Nice to see you are happy with your prediction though.
That's all that matters.

Khl you're off your marbles. If Agger did what Skrtel did today they'd defend him as well.

Actually there maybe is one positive...

Jordan Ibe will surely be given a go sooner rather than later, exciting looking player, how Sterling is ahead of him in the pecking order boggles the mind.

Flanno has started 3 games and we've conceded 8 goals. Lets not kid ourselves about his quality. Enrique is injured and our other left footed option is Cissokho. Or, try McLauglin on the right and move GlenJo over on the left.

The reason we lost the game today is because we have too many passengers in the team. Moses was poor, Sterling too despite trying. I'm sorry , trying just isn't good enough at this level. Henderson did his usual running around, Gerrard was OK and Lucas was ineffective.
We lost to two freak goals, it happens but what irks me is that we only managed to score one goal, from a set piece...again. Fourth time in a row, right?
We have big problems in midfield. Atm I'd actually bring back Allen.

How is dropping Agger a part of the problem? Did you miss the part where we conceded three goals last week aswell?

Last week when he had Lukaku in his pocket, Lukaku who scored two.

As someone said earlier, there's only Mignolet and Skrtel who ever look like they can be bothered defensively and look like they actually give a fuck, the rest, and our midfield have been shambolic this season.

The compentators said repeatedly today that Skrtel was having a great game, regardless of the two deflections, at least he tried to throw himself infront of the ball, no one else in the team has got it in them to.
