Jota needs to get fully back up to speed as he is our most likely goal scorer after Mo.
He is playing well today.
I love the way he moves with the ball.
He is always on the move, even if not doing anything. The constant movement is required out of one of 3 in midfield. Macca and Gravvy need someone like him next to him in a 3.
To think we had a silent brotherhood of support for that dork at one point.

Szob, Jota, Endo, Tsimi, and Trent all impressing. Rio, too, of course.
It's nice to see Jota being confident enough to drop deep and helping us progress the play. We talk about his finishing all the time, but he's also one of the most dribblers in the squad and once he's running at you from deep he'll gladly skip past with ease. It's some of the link up play that let's him down when he's not at his best, but he's looking pretty sharp today.
As for Rio he needs to decide before he gets the ball whether he's going to take players on, and release the ball quicker. It's what makes Yamal, who he should be studying so dangerous, in that his all round game is freakishly advanced for a player so young.

Hence my somewhat outlandish takes.
Regarding Nunez, I've noticed recently that the players reactions to his misses and (for lack of a better word) chaotic play is getting more and more noticeable. Starting to think that they're fed up too. I mentioned a while back that it looked like they sometimes even tried to avoid passing him the ball during our build up.
My secret shame is I don't rate Rio. He just looks all pointless stepovers and dribbling in circles to me.
