No, Squiggs, he hasn't. He didn't at W.Ham and even at Chelsea he played in the centre (where he's far happier) some of the time. Granted he should still be able to put a decent cross in, but no player's going to perform at his best in a position he doesn't like.

The amount of times he played centrally for Chelsea can be counted on one hand, and he's shown himself to be no better in a central role for us thus far. Joe Cole will come good on the left if players around him improve their passing and movement. He's at the very bottom of our priorities at the moment.
