regardless of everything else that went on in the game , can someone please explain why Barcelona and Valdes refused to kick it long ? It was bordering on bizarre , especially after it lead to conceding after 20secs . Every goal kick was taken short to either abidal or pique just outside the box and Valdes refused to just clear anything passed back to him. They were nearly picked off a few other times during the game for overplaying it back there ...it was just weird .


Messi was a bit strange also , he was of course decent and great for the 1st goal but so often he just sauntered around in a right mood .

Any chance we could pick up some of either's 'squad' players ? Pedro , Villa or higuain ?
 
Great win for Barca as I expected even with the early goal.

Simple the greatest side we will ever see play football.
