Digne

Seems as though PSG have agreed to us talking to Digne and his agent.
Loads of potential that lad and a bit of signing like we've made before.
Was very good at Lille. Could be a good signing if the fee is right.

Liverpool have held talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for left-back Lucas Digne.
The France international joined PSG from Lille in 2013 for £10.5million, but has made just 30 appearances in Ligue 1 since the move.
The defender has eight caps for France and could soon follow Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner, Danny Ings, Christian Benteke, Adam Bogdan, Roberto Firmino and Joe Gomez to Anfield.

The 22-year-old would provide competition to become Liverpool's first-choice left-back with Alberto Moreno.
It has been reported previously that Digne was 'desperate' to leave Paris, and a move to Merseyside would likely be welcomed by the youngster.
PSG manager Laurent Blanc, however, wants to keep hold of Digne, having told L'Equipe: 'He is with us, he is very professional, he trains very well and has prepared excellently. This is a good thing for him and possibly for us, should he stay with us this season.'

Wtf, we've got Moreno, Enrique, Gomez, Flanno - that all can play lb, and we're after anther one? Buy a fucking DM rodgers.

"Can play" isn't enough. Moreno - whom I like and want to see given more time - has a fair bit to prove still, Enrique's got no future here, Gomez (while he may well start the season there) isn't actually a LB by trade and Flanno (who's mainly a RB anyway) is just coming back from a long-term injury. I actually agree that DM is more of a priority, but (a) that doesn't mean we're sorted at LB and (b) I doubt Rodgers will agree with us about DM anyway - I don't actually think he wants one at all.

LFC certainly met with a couple of bods from PSG in London a week ago. I've no idea why - maybe we're trying to sell someone rather than buy someone, but Dominic King wouldn't have plucked this story out of nowhere.

[An unrelated bit of trivia: our ongoing search for a new club doctor has been handed over to an 'executive search' company, specialising in sport, called Nolan Partners in Duchess Street in London. I gather this has been a relationship that's been going since Martin Broughton was at the club, but it still seems a bit odd, given clubs usually already know who's available within the game. And it's taking AGES!]

Mail saying our interest cooled after the talks we had in London.
Wages maybe or fee to PSG.
