Can we beat Arsenal?

According to the morning papers Studge and Lallana will probably be fit.
Sterling will only play vs Lithuania because of a injured toe. So he'll have a weeks rest before the game.

The biggest concern then is Ibe and if Ming will be fit. He probably will.

I honestly don't know if we can

They're playing well and are stupidly in form

It's frustrating, everyone we need not to be coming into form is doing so in impressive manner.

Whereas we seem to be having some confidence issues again at just the wrong time.

However arsenal are mentally weak as fuck, so maybe we can learn from our piss poor start against Utd & go out all guns blazing.

I'm not convinced though, Rodgers just seems to fall short on the big occasions, with is hopefully something he'll learn from & fix sooner rather than later.

It's the wing back positions which concern me at the moment and getting them right would be pivotal in beating Arsenal. I also would play Sterling up front if he's in the side. It would be good to have Ibe back but I'm not sure about anyone else in the wing back positions at the moment. Lucas also needs to play.

We're not going to outplay them in any way.

You mean like we didn't Anfield ?

Not a given but I do feel the International Break has come at the right time for once because the players must be feeling shite after Sunday. It's up to Rodgers to get their confidence back up .. if he does we are more than capable of a result. It won't be easy though but Arsenal have been getting through their recent matches much as United did earlier in the season.

No. They are not. Have you watched their last two matches (Newcastle & West Ham) ? I did, they were shite and lucky in both to take away 3 pts despite the score lines).

By the same token, Did you watch our last few matches.

That wasn't my point ... or yours.
My point is their confidence is high even with dodgy performances. They also have got a striker scoring for fun

We don't have a striker worth a damn at the minute

There's a while to go yet before we know who's fit and who isn't. Either way, we need to go back to having Sterling upfront, because at least he chases everything. I'd go with:

------------------Mignolet------------------
--------Can------Toure-----Sakho-------
Ibe--------------------------------Johnson
---------------Lucas--Allen----------------
-----Henderson------------Coutinho-----
-------------------Sterling-------------------

Yep that's exactly how I expect us to line up..
