How long till the saviour is fit then?

I can't wait to see him on the pitch, he's going to be fucking A

Poor Alberto. People will expecting him to perform miracles. The Messiah is coming. Haha.

i reckon october before his first appearance and then if he stays fit (something he has failed to do for the last 5 seasons) then it'll be January at least before he's upto speed and all of that has got nothing to do with whether he's another lucas.

Don't worry, he will 😉

I think when he finally does start playing, people are gonna be a bit disappointed if they're expecting anew Gerrard. From what I can make out he's a more injury-prone version of Xabi that chips in with about the same amount of goals.

We bloody need someone who can pass a ball in the CM and sharpish though. Whether its Aquaman or Gerrard gets moved back there for a bit.

He's more attacking than xabi and willing to try and go past a man. He's Xabi and Gerrards lovechild. But as with all love childs never as good as the parents

I've seen Roma play many times, but have never seen Aqua play!!! A little bit like I used to see Newcastle play a lot but never saw Michael Owen play!

can i have the lottery numbers too?

thread makes interesting reading anyway.

anyone think he'll make a 1st league start against city?

Dossena had brilliant things to say about Aquilani this week and how he will give us another dimension, he even said we will have the best MF in Europe (Gerrard & Aquilani). I'll give Dossena his due, he may not have fitted in and flopped, he may even be on his way, but he has always been behind the club 100%. Hope he does well back in Italy.
