Djimi Traore or Aly Cissokho

Michael Owen made me laugh during the Everton game. Comparing Aly Cissokho touch to that of Djimi Traore..

So who is the worst player ???

I think Cissokho is a little better that Djimmi was, though he's also pretty dire.

Talking about touches, I don't remember Owen as having a particularly good touch and control. Though his was better that that of those two...

Traore was epic. Cissokho is just mediocre. So, definitely, Traore.

The fact that we won the CL with him in the team just shows that God himself was rooting for us that year.

Djimi was infinitely better at defending one vs one than Cissokho. But they're pretty much the same with the ball so it's an easy choice for me.
Cissokho.

Nonsense Owens touch was superb. Hate him or not he was an all round world class striker.

It's this clown of course.

On the subject of Owen's banal commentary, what the fuck was he talking about when he said "you have to earn the right to counter attack"? He said it twice too.

Chelsea knowing how to win the league implying that City do not was pretty bad from Owen.

Some of what he says is actually ok, it's just easy to ignore it amongst clichéd shite like that, along with that incessant banal monotone fucking voice droning on, of course.

It's like listening to an accountant talk about his hobby spotting trains most of the time.

Owen is from the school of punditry of talking despite not actually having anything to say.

Oh and Traore was better than Cissokho. European Cup winner Djimi Traore was capable of howlers, but was also capable of playing well.

They should employ him doing horse racing as he would probably be more passionate.

I never watch horse racing.

I don't hate him. Not anymore...

His touch was nowhere near that of top level players - e.g. Messi, Suarez, Ronaldo, Aguero etc.
Don't compare it to the touch of players like Cissokho or Traore...

"he doesn't miss from there" said Michael Owen in relation to Spur's Capoue.

According to Wikipedia, Capoue has scored 14 goals in 180 games

I think Troare is better.

However, when Cissokho takes a throw in he has a tendency to puff out his cheeks like a fat kid running towards a sweet shop. This makes me laugh, so for this reason I'll call it a tie.

Djimi is a Legend. Cissokho is a clown.

When he scores a comical own goal and wins a CL medal I will consider warming to Aly.

I like Cissokho. Don't get me wrong though, he is fucking gash and way out of his depth but at least he's giving it his all. He'll probably only get a couple more appearances this season and he hasn't done any real damage, no backheel own goals for example. I can't help but think he's going to redeem himself all in one moment at some point. He'll score a jammy winner in the cup or clear the ball off the line at OT or some shit like that.

Or the Rooney doesnt miss penalties comment while the graphics were showing he had missed 3 of his last 5

The thing that baffles me is how Cissokho ever got a reputation as a quality player. There was a time when people more or less raved about him - think he was playing for Porto. That's right, isn't it? I could fucking swear it.

Because in reality he's completely, irredeemably, shit.

Yeah when he was at Lyon the whole internet thought he was a beast.
Half those clowns probably never seen him play.

I saw him play for Porto against Utd at Old Trafford and he was ace. Insanely good. God knows what happened.

Both Cissokho and Traore have been better value and better performers for us than Owen was for some of his clubs.
