What are you on about Modo? I think the expression I used albeit with poetic licence went over your head. I've always wanted to sign Germans but the good ones are usually unattainable, SO, let's turn our attention to Belgian players.

Anyway, I got what you mean. I'm just a bit frustrated that we haven't bought anyone of these "new Germans", since we seem to have missed the Belgian train as well.

I agree about missing out on the new wave of Belgian stars. The German bandwagon has packed up and left already it seems. The Germans seem content playing in their home country and their clubs rarely feel the need to sell and when they do it tends to be to Munich, Dortmund etc.

Really hope Belgium qualify for the next major tournament. They really must have an excellent squad at this stage. Courtois, Mignolet, Van Buyten. Vermaelen, Verthongen, Kompany, Alderweireld, Witsel, Sreech, Demebele, Mertens, Defour, Hazard, Lakaku, Mirallas, Benteke. That's just off the top of my head.

That's almost an all-star team really. What they lack is a truly, proven world-class striker/forward.
