If this is true: They've known since May that Suarez was leaving, and Remy was the only answer? A player with known health issues. If this is true, then this is disgraceful.
I had more faith in our owners that this - Let's wait and see - but perhaps FSG is looking to hold onto that Suarez money for whatever reason
ain damage if Etoo is deemed an answer.
Our first choice replacement got told by his missus they had to move to london.
Our 2nd choice failed his fucking medical in New York on the pre-season trip.
And Bony's too expensive.
You're being way melodramatic.
Could it just be that we have tried all the top dogs and the response is either:
1) Liverpool ain't London
2) We have been out of CL so long that the top players don't think we actually that good.
3) lack of other top players in world at our club.
I don't believe we have not tried.
Or we don't have the money we thought we had
This would have been okay if it was him that came in instead of Lambert and then we still got an attacker ahead of him in the pecking order. Plus I think he'd suit our style more. But the pair of them and that's it is a bit shit.
We made attempts to sign Sanchez, Remy, Falcao and Cavani, how much bigger do you want to go ?Eto is a shit signing if true and just screams that we can't sign a top striker.
Though CL footy was meant to give us that platform but we haven't signed anyone who we couldn't have signed without it. We need to think a bit bigger.

Remy is the only one of that bunch I'm genuinely convinced we tried for.
We really didn't put in enough effort for Sanchez.
Well none of us know what actually went on though all the ITKs and the foreign media were convinced in each case, I seriously doubt we've just sat on our hands for 2 months.
I get the feeling we basically just listened to Cavani/Falcao's transfer and wage demands, and realized we were hilariously priced out. No real effort put forth by the club, as they were just too financially unrealistic.
We should have put out all of the stops for Sanchez though, which we clearly didn't do. What makes it worse is he went to a direct rival.
How do you know we didn't ? Both offers were accepted so obviously we matched Arsenal's bid. It's well documented that he chose the Arse because of his wife's predilection for London. I thought we could have maybe just slapped another £10m on the table and said to the Arse .... match that. However if the player is adamant he won't move to the North of England then that's pretty much that.
I'm surprised this guy went under the radar of the big clubs
