Lol, I hate to agree with Ryan but in fairness Lucas has been missed more than not.
He's not good enough long term but he adds a layer we don't have defensively when he has been out

Lucas is a good squad player to have and has been missed. Its always good to have another option if we want to close out the game. But gerrard is definitely growing into the role and we haven't missed lucas at all in the last 3 games. I can't see lucas getting back into the team right now. But i'd definitely want him back in the team when we play chelsea and city for that extra level of protection.

Lucas got subbed off the last time Villa battered us 3-1 at Anfield... I'm thinking the result wouldn't have been much different had he played against villa earlier in Jan...I doubt he would have been able to prevent Toure making a howler either...
