We need a player that will add creativity and spark to the middle of the field. Is there a better choice. Benteke needs to look as though he is interested because right now he looks like a a kid who has lost his dummy.

Can he play in the Europa League?
He can if we sell him to another team that's still in the Europa League.
If he hasn't been given a chance by mid Jan he's obviously not shown enough in training.
What's Teixeira got to do with Benteke?

Out of interest anyone see Suso's been sent out on loan from inter. There must be something wrong with him.

He's a good player. In the season where he figured a bit under Rodgers, he changed and controlled the midfield in two games against Everton and Chelsea. You don't do that if you're short of talent. Perhaps it's a physicality, stamina or attitude issue, but he's a talented player.
That said, Tex looks every bit the player but has the bravery and physique to match.
Add positive attitude and aggression to that. I'd really like to see him get some subs appearances and then take it from there.
