Team under Klopp, your expectations please?

I'm expecting the players to look like they've got rockets up their arses. That'll do for a start.

Whatever team he picks, he'll no doubt be thinking 'who the fuck put this squad together'

Can Milner be a stop-gap dm?
He seems smart with his forward runs. But can he hold his position, close down space, decide when to press and when to fall back?

I wonder how Benteke will be utilised (if at all).

On the one hand he doesn't seem to fit the Klopp profile but as Froggy (I think) once said, it might be that playing him as an out and out Hasselbaink type might work.

I expect Clyne, Gomez, Moreno, Firmino, Coutinho and Benteke to form the basis of Klopp's Liverpool. With what we have, the big unknown for me is the midfield. We certainly don't have an ideal Klopp DM so I expect he will start with Lucas. Milner and Henderson may well end up competing for the same place so Milner has the head start based on fitness although longer term I think Henderson suits Klopp's style more. Of the regulars, I expect Skrtel, Lovren, Ibe and Lallana have the most to fear from Klopp.

Mignolet

Clyne
Gomez
Sakho
Moreno

Lucas / Can
Henderson /Milner

Sturridge / Ings
Firmino
Coutinho

Benteke

I expect him to do the following:-

1) As a German - he will work on the mental strength of the players - turning a bunch of pussy heads into hard heads.
2) Team will be more organised and play lots of triangles - German Style.
3) Efficiency in getting the ball from the back to the front - not with endless passing but more direct passing without resorting to long balls.
4) Make use of players to suite their best and natural positions
5) Focus on WINNING games with a tactical awareness.

That is what I expect.

To not feel like I know more than the manager. He'll get loads of time from me to do what he needs to. It's a true rebuild, IMO.
