The thing is it feels like the right thing to do is call time on the Lovren experiment, all though i still would like to see him come good

De Vrij Seems like the kind of leader at the back we could do with. But i have only seen him a few times.

Isn't it slightly odd timing to be saying that about Lovren after he's been one of the few players who have actually done OK in recent weeks?

Im not hugely convinced that he can be an integral part of a solid defence in a team that tends to play with no DM and particularly when Rodgers instructs the centrebacks to part and leave a huge gaping hole as the full backs push up....

Then again you might ask which defender will? But my issue is not with the mistakes made by them, but the utter lack of leadership....it seemed ok and acceptable to make a mistake...I doubt Carra would have accepted half the shit that went on last season.

He was very poor again last week Jules. I'm not sure if his recent decent form is the norm or his headless chicken matches !
