This was probably the only time we went down the channels. We kept trying the cross field to the opposite flank time and time again and failed with pretty much every single one.

I thought Darwin's pass was quite good as well. Opted to put it behind the path of the defender running back towards his goal instead of feathering in front of the path for Mo to run into.
Yup. Salah's run was also super smart. All 5 players involved in that goal did superbly well in such a high-pressure stage of the game.

It's impressive for sure, much better than anyone could've imagined and long may it continue......however I wasn't expecting us to be this boring to watch, the drop off in excitement is night and day.

We’re also seeing less what the fuck moments and seeing yard dogs players cut through our defensive lines.

We’re more focused on our defensive shape and stopping teams from getting at us over wanting to go for the kill which is fine so long as the results are there, defence first and attack second. With Klopp and Rodgers it was very much the opposite.

Yes. Slot has said that we will evolve as the team implements his methods and that we're not at the required level yet. Better players and more experience of his systems will obviously make a difference.
However our defence was a clear issue and weakness last season and the obvious place to start. He's done a remarkable job on that facet of our game.
We've only played 14 games but some people love to whine and whinge 😉
Looks like he's got a restraining order to keep him away from playgrounds.
