This is shit. A classic case of over-thinking from Rodgers: instead of building on the previous couple of games he tried a new system, but the players seem confused about implementing it. He needs to change everything at half-time or we'll lose this game.

Well that was pretty rubbish.
Not the worst we've played this season but pretty close.
Ming is a heart attack every corner and when the ball's at his feet.
Johnson has to be injured but has held his own with two notable exceptions which nearly cost us dearly.
Lovren and Skrtel have been ok without being convincing - Moreno probably our best defender.
There's no movement up front. Newcastle are parking the bus but, still, Coutinho, Sterling and Balo are not helping us at all. Henderson and Gerrard are the only ones who've looked likely to create anything up front. We look very average, actually, with the exception of those two players.
In attack we need another striker to give us more time up front but that could seriously hurt us with Newcastle's counter. I honestly think it's a tricky one for Rodgers but I'd get Allen off and put Borini on. At least we go down trying to win and could really win it for us.

Not sure how sending Moreno forward and leaving a huge gap for Obertan/Ameobi to run at Lovren into was supposed to create an advantage to us. And knowing Lovren, he is not doing to drop back and wait for the attack to develop, he is going to get sucked in to trying the challenge, get beaten for pace and then the Newcastle man has a run at Skrtel alone – that happened a few times already. Fortunately they were wasteful and too predicable to take advantage, but it's going to tell eventually if we don't change the system and give them something to think about.
Every single one of them have been awful. If BR doesn't change things and bring on Lallana and Borini I fucking despair.
Lucas as well would be an improvement. *sobs*
