Prediction: He’ll think he’s some sort of super coach who has the god-given talent to impose his system on an ill suited squad and lose 5 of his first 10 games to the delight of us all.

It' a weird one. I think they actually have signed some good players. I'm not sure recruitment has been the problem. But good players seem to go and die @ United.

I think their recruitment has been beyond terrible - none of the players they’ve signed of late would even get on our bench.

Ok, there’s a couple of youngsters in there that might develop, but the idea of bringing in players from overseas is they’re supposed to be cheap - Utd get fleeced every time.

It’s utterly delicious.

Unfortunately yes. Not the appointment I wanted.

Yeah… but do they have the players he needs to make his 343 system work.

If they don’t… that’ll take time and money - which means another glorious rebuild.

He could just as well be Ten Hag with hair!!!!

I’d be more worried if they went for Emery and I’m glad Tuchel took the England job.

I also hope Real don’t sack Ancelotti in the next week or so.

Also… even Amorim isn’t going to suddenly turn that bunch of fuck knuckles into challengers.

It’s been abysmal imo.

Who do you think has been a good signing?

I would say Hojlund and Garnacho are good players in a bad setup - they would shine elsewhere. Not a signing, but a youth prospect - Mainoo has looked decent as well. But yes Eriksen and Casimiro look gash. What's the thoughts on Ugarte? Haven't seen him play since Cassablanca.

I agree I like Hojlund and Garnancho but they’ve signed way way more than that who have largely been absolutely shite.

Wrong players, wrong attitude and cost a mint.

Ugarte has looked slow in the limited minutes I’ve seen him so far but I also think it’s a huge gamble bringing in that type of player from overseas if they have been tested by the pace of the English game.

Ultimately for what he spent they should have a very strong squad. They don’t bar the odd exception you’ve mentioned.

The squad is not too bad. Ten Haag is just shit.
Keeper is ok, fullbacks are good. Centerbacks average.
Cm is weak.
Wingers good, and Højlund is decent.

They've got a load of very meh players and their squad is probably mid table in total.
You can look at that squad and there isnt one player I'd like us to sign. Tells you everything.

Are you saying no to Garnacho the player or the person? He's a good player. I'd even throw Mainoo and Fernandes into the mix too.

Unfortunately i think Amorim will get a tune out of those 3 and the Temu Haaland.

how is onana escaping this discussion, if he’s a top 4 PL keeper i’m albert einstein

and i wouldn’t put their captain in charge of taking my bins out

they also just gave him a 3 year extension at salah level money

I can see that we turned away from Amorim as his 343 didn't suit our current players.

But Utd's players are shit anyway so there's no harm in getting rid of them all and getting new ones in!

Well… as long as they have a new plan to stick to, I’m sure they’ll have a chance to bounce back.

They have some players who can play, but who can't muster a professional backbone between the lot of them. With only a few exceptions (most of whom are either too old or not good enough for the Prem top four) they've utterly failed to do their due diligence on the kind of individual, not just the kind of footballer, they're signing and have ended up with a bunch of entitled big time Charlies.

Loving it.

Both. He's overhyped and the same can be said about Mainoo. I wouldnt want that whiney arms in the air Fernandes anywhere near our squad.

Not one player in their squad is of interest.
