I don't know much about Gosling, but I would seriously have EVERY ONE of those midfielders ahead of Lucas.. even Sidwell who has proven a good player at Reading (when they were in the Premiership).

Lucas isn't the absolute problem in our side, but he's one of the bigger ones in terms of personnel. The complete definition of a passenger. A nothing player.

It was funny on Monday seeing Glen Johnson throw the ball into a load of trouble rather than give it to a completely unmarked Lucas who was asking for it. Magic was doing that thing, like when some spaz you used to work with is shouting at you across the street and you're just thinking 'look in front and keep walking and pretend I've zoned out and haven't noticed'

I think we can sum up the differences between RAWK and 6CM using Lucas as an example:

The SQUAWK mentalists want to build a team around him, whereas on 6cm we are actually discussing ways to have him killed.

It's the 'superfan' ethos. Support the much maligned player to exude some air of intelligence or to appear like you can see the bigger picture.

It also stem's from their love of Rafa. Lucas was his creation and they seem to support Rafa vicariously through Lucas for some bizarre reason.

TLW has some of the most vicious anti-Benitez posters, who are often nearly as mental as the SQUAWK moonies, and just as risible

I find it quite uncomfortable slating Benitez, just as I did about Houllier, but the more I read of SQUAWK, the more I hate Benitez
