I think it's about time we officially outed Dreamy and sacrificed him.

He extols the virtues of Man United players, past and present, consistently. He wants United to keep winning to keep Ole in a job. He cashes out on the reds. He willingly starts threads with full knowledge that he's a jinxy cunt and will see us lose. Now, he's defending Karius."😀"
I support to motion.

He was "passable" prior to the final, that's maybe the best you can say about him. He threw a couple in against Roma in the semi (without concussion), he was just lucky we scored so many at the other end
Agreed, he was no world beater but I can’t believe people don’t get the effect the abuse he had after the final would have on him and affect his performance.

Are you trying to claim he can become a world class keeper again? If so, why is Klopp making him fourth choice behind fucking Adrian? This isn't the best subject to try and be contrarian on. He was above average at best going into Kiev and he left with his career over. This is sport, there are about 500 keepers better than him and rightly no one wants to take a risk on him after he's proven at both loans since that he is utter shite.
Nah he’s done, I just have sympathy for him as opposed to hatred.

What happened the last time I started a match thread?

Agreed - i got the impression that Dreamy was trying to imply he once was. At his best he made the odd great save and could go 90 minutes without a brainfart - but only just.
Nah never world class, Hal just said he never made a great save for us. He clearly did but he had too many mistakes in him similar to Ming.

I remember karius being better than mignolet, and that's about it. Kiev fucked up his life. Least we won the thing a year later. He's forever tarnished

I remember wanting Karius to play when Ming was in goal, and Ming to play when Karius was in goal. I remember wanting Ming to start the CL final, but probably because Karius had been in the team up to that.

I think Ming was marginally better but thankfully we don't have to rely on either anymore.

Also an awful lot of those saves Karius made in Dreamy's video are piss easy, and just made to look difficult by the numpty in nets.

The same argument is made by rivals fans about a lot of Becker’s saves.

In hindsight, I actually think we would have lost that final regardless, even if Karius hasn't committed the errors – we did not have as much experience and quality in the team at that time and struggled to regain control after Mo went off injured and was replaced by the ineffective Lallana. It would have been close, but I think Real would still have edged it.

Watching the highlights clip, the first thing that comes to mind is he must be one of the luckiest keeper alive (up till the finals). The writing was on the wall; he made so many saves by pushing them onto the post or making random bad punches that luckily didn't fall to an opponent. They were relatively straightforward saves but he somehow managed to make them look more difficult than they were. It made it seem like he was doing well before he finally lucked out.
